Terms of use

Last updated: 13 August 2026. By accessing or using pulsevaultwave.life (“the portal”), you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the portal.

1. Operator

2. Nature of content

Content is editorial journalism covering Singapore municipal, transport, community, and cultural affairs. It is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Verify critical information independently — especially dates, times, and locations affecting your plans — before acting on it.

We describe our verification method on How We Check. Publication does not guarantee completeness. Official agency notices remain authoritative over our summaries.

3. Acceptable use

You may read, quote, and link to published content for non-commercial purposes with clear attribution to Pulse Vault Wave and a link to the original entry. You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content without written permission.
  • Republish content commercially without a licence.
  • Attempt to disrupt portal operation, probe security, or access restricted editorial systems.
  • Misrepresent our content as your own, as official government communication, or as endorsed by any agency.
  • Use automated tools to submit correspondence, simulate reader traffic, or manipulate analytics.
  • Harass staff or submit unlawful material via email or telephone.
  • Frame portal pages within another site in a way that obscures attribution or implies endorsement.

Educational use in classrooms is welcome with attribution. Please link to the live portal rather than distributing static copies that may omit subsequent fix notices.

4. Intellectual property

Original text, layout, index structure, and editorial selection are copyright Pulse Vault Wave Pte. Ltd. Third-party source documents cited in articles remain the property of their respective owners. Our attribution of sources does not transfer any rights. The Pulse Vault Wave name and logo may not be used without written permission except for fair quotation.

5. Corrections and fix notices

We publish fix notices for verified errors. Original articles remain in the back-issue archive with fix-notice links. Do not rely on cached, scraped, or third-party copies that may not include corrections. Report errors to [email protected].

Subscription access grants search and delivery convenience across the back-issue index. It does not alter editorial content, wave timing, or verification standards. Subscribers receive the same filings at the same times as public readers.

We may introduce new subscription tiers or archival products from time to time. Existing subscribers receive notice by email before material changes to their tier terms take effect.

7. Print room and on-site access

Visitors to the print room at 35 Kerbau Road must comply with room rules posted on site: no removal of index cards, no photography of internal proofs without permission, and quiet conduct during active editorial hours. We may refuse entry to visitors who breach these rules or these terms.

Children under sixteen must be accompanied by an adult in the print room. The room contains working equipment and archival materials not suited to unsupervised access.

8. Third-party links and embeds

Embedded maps (Google Maps, subject to cookie consent) and outbound links to government sources are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party content, availability, or privacy practices. Review third-party terms and policies separately before use.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The portal is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free content, or freedom from harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Pulse Vault Wave Pte. Ltd., its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from portal use or reliance on content, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or portal use shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or a nominal sum if no fees were paid, whichever is greater as permitted by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pulse Vault Wave Pte. Ltd. against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the portal, breach of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights through your conduct.

12. Privacy and cookies

Personal data handling is described in our Privacy policy. Cookie use is described on our Cookies page. By using the portal you acknowledge those policies.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the portal for maintenance, security, or legal compliance without notice. We may refuse correspondence from users who repeatedly breach these terms or abuse staff.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless prohibited by applicable law.

15. User-generated correspondence

By emailing us, you grant a non-exclusive licence to quote your message internally for correction verification and desk routing. We do not publish your correspondence without consent. Do not send unlawful, threatening, or harassing material.

16. Archival access terms

Extended print room research sessions and subscription-based digital archive search are subject to separate access agreements sent by email. Those agreements supplement these terms where they impose additional restrictions on reproduction of bound volumes or index cards.

17. Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy policy and Cookies page, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pulse Vault Wave Pte. Ltd. regarding portal use. They supersede prior oral or written understandings on the same subject.

18. Assignment

We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice posted on this page. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.

19. Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

20. Language

These terms are published in English (Singapore). In case of conflict between translations, the English version prevails.

22. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

23. Governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

These terms were last reviewed on 13 August 2026 alongside our Privacy policy and Cookies page. Material legal changes are announced on the home page index bar for one week following publication.

By continuing to use the portal after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms unless applicable law gives you the right to object or withdraw in a specific manner we describe in the change notice itself.

Portal availability may vary during maintenance windows announced on the index bar. Scheduled maintenance does not constitute a breach of these terms provided we restore access within a reasonable period.

These terms apply to all visitors regardless of how they reach the portal — direct link, search result, or referral from a third-party site.
